Mary Wright - Director of Care Mary Wright was born and raised in North County Monaghan at Moybridge, which is on the borders of Monaghan and Tyrone. She is from the well known McQuaid family, local to the area where her parents still reside.
Mary, the eldest girl of seven brother and two sisters, attended Killybrone local primary school, followed by her secondary education at St. Louis Convent School in Monaghan Town. She embarked on her Nursing career in Craigavon Area Group School of Nursing, Co. Armagh and upon qualifying worked for a period as a Junior Staff Nurse in Craigavon Hospital. She then went to Stobhill Hospital in Glasgow, Scotland, to study a postgraduate course in Midwifery where she qualified the following year.
She then secured a position in St. Vincents University Hospital, Elm Park, in Dublin where she worked in various disciplines for the following six years. She gained valuable experience in Acute Medicine, Acute Care of the Elderly in disignated unit, General Surgery, Orthopoedics, Neurosurgery and Thoracic Surgery. She progressed to Senior Staff Nurse level in Neurosurgery and Thoracic Surgery unit where she developed her management and organisational skills.
Deciding a change of career path she embarked on a one year sabbatical from St. Vincents Hospital to the Middle East for a position as Staff Nurse in King Abdul Azziz Universtiy Hospital in Jeddah. She met her Husband there and remained in the Middle East with her family until 1996. |

On return to Ireland, she took up residence in Monaghan and secured a position in Monaghan General Hospital as Cardiac Research Nurse for two years. As part of her work remit, she undertook to setup and run a Consultant Led Heart Failure Programme having completed the Heart Failure Course with St. Vincents University Hospital and The Irish Heart Foundation.
Her interest in Care of the Older Person commenced when she started work in Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home, where she was successful in securing the position of Clinical Nurse Manager in 2003. She then moved to Mullinahinch House Nursing Home in 2005 as Clinical Nurse Manager where she continued working until taking up her position as Director of Care at Castlemanor Nursing Home in September 2008. The experience she has gained as Clinical Nurse Manager over the past six years in both Nursing Homes has provided her with an excellent knowlegde base, management skills and understanding of the needs in the Care of the Older Person.
She is enthusiastic in her new role as Director of Care and together with the highly competent team of Health Care Professionals and Management, looks forward to the challenges of establishing Castlemanor Nursing Home as one of the best facilities in the Care of the Older Person in Ireland.

Dermot O'Reilly - Financial Controller Dermot O'Reilly holds an honours degree in Agricultural Science and is a member of Institute of Accountant Technicians of Ireland.
He spent 9 years working as a Commercial Banker with ACC Bank. During the 9 years at ACC Bank he held various roles. These included Business Development Manager in Cavan and Mayo. He was also Deputy Head of Agricultural Credit Policy, Agricultural Credit Underwriting, Instalment Credit Underwriting and Personal Credit for the National Branch Network. He spent 3 years as the Regional Credit Manager for Commercial Credit in the North East, North West and Midlands region.
He is currently working as Financial Controller for a medium size construction company, which is engaged in numerous development projects in the residential and commercial sectors. He is overseeing the development and growth of the construction company from a small building operation to one of the leading private development construction company's in the Cavan area.
